BIO
Willow Rosen (they/them/theirs) is a white, Jewish, nonbinary, queer educator and consultant. Over the last decade or so Mx. Willow's work has focused on equity and change for transgender and queer clients throughout their reproductive lives.
Their work began at a micro level working directly with clients as a doula, childbirth educator and patient advocate. From that vantage point it became quite evident that while supporting each client was important work, there were larger issues to tackle. What work could be done related to the systems that continued acting as a barrier to the fair and equitable treatment that all folks deserve?
With that question in mind they focused on training the providers and coaching the healthcare facilities that were offering a range of reproductive services from abortion to infertility support and everything in between. Working directly with their community remained a priority for Mx. Willow leading them to create a transgender-specific sexual health curricula, by and for the community.
They are excited to continue offering education to the gender expansive community as well as working with those interfacing with this population.
